Barbara Papendorp is delighted to be a part of WWIT’s 20th Anniversary Celebration— this is her 4th Cabaret for the Festival! Barbara’s first project with Karen Berman was at the Source Theatre Festival (Last Stand of the Polish Sharpshooters ). She has been seen with many of Washington’s theater companies, including the Faction of Fools, Rainbow Theatre Project, Forum Theater, Washington Shakespeare Company, the IN Series and Le NeonTheatre. She has performed at the Intersections Festival at Atlas Theatre for the French musical Bigoudi. As a cabaret artist she has appeared  at venues including La Maison Française, Alliance Française, Flashpoint,  and the Phillips Collection. Amy Conley’s (Pianist / Vocalist) music direction credits include: Pallas Theatre Collective – code name: Cynthia, Lost in Wonderland; Creative Cauldron –  Marry Me a Little, The Play’s the Thing: FOURTHWall Cabaret - Thunder Knocking on the Door; The Keegan Theatre – Man of La Mancha; SMP - Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler on the Roof. Acting credits include: Signature Theatre – Threepenny Opera (u/s), Beaches (u/s), Revenge of the Understudies, Company (u/s), Sycamore Trees (u/s); Pallas Theatre Collective – The Fall of the House of Usher, code name: Cynthia (staged reading); LTA –Cabaret (WATCH nomination); TAP – Kiss Me, Kate (WATCH nomination). Amy has also music directed and performed in cabaret shows at The Arts Club of Washington, Germano’s Trattoria, Happenings at the Harman, Washington Women in Theatre Celebration, and Black Fox Lounge. Amy is Director of Music and Arts for Unity of Fairfax and teaches piano and voice.
